Greetings!
I am proud to have been a professional educator since 1999. I am honored to have taught, tutored and mentored over 2,000 students in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Maryland, and Texas. I continue to see my role as helping students adapt academics, so they can navigate the complexities of higher education, skilled trades professions, adulthood, and citizenship. My education philosophy, EduRenation, is founded on the Golden Rule and emphasizes the connection between education and virtues at the individual, communal, and societal levels. The complications and complexities of advanced study, careers, industries, and institutions are all shaped by our individual and social realities, so my role is to help students connect those big abstractions of life to the human qualities, values, and experiences each of us possesses. This realization gives continuing purpose to education and is what powers me to do this vital work that I love.

My first experience as a tutor happened by chance. One day, my younger cousin was having problems understanding her Algebra classwork, so I explained the principles and how she could solve the equations. She was so impressed by how simple I made it seem, she referred me to other students. My practice has grown a lot since then. After many years of conducting grouped Math sessions, I expanded to tutoring English (Reading and Writing), Chemistry, and many other subjects to students at the elementary, secondary, and tertiary levels.
I believe that each year is an opportunity to improve, either by enhancing my existing skills or expanding my services to my students and clients. My education philosophy has also developed over the years. EduRenation is my approach of combining academic instruction with universal virtues at the individual, community, and societal levels. The Golden Rule, nuance, non-discrimination, and a safe environment figure prominently in my teachings. I am especially proud of my longstanding relationships with many families whose children I have tutored, sibling and sibling, through grades school up to college.
My role as an educator broadened with my lecturing duties in Psychology at the undergraduate level at colleges in the City University of New York (CUNY) system. Yet, I see greater need outside of the formal institutions, particularly in the areas of skilled trades and humane services as technological and social forces disrupt how we learn, work, and live. Therefore, my research, services, and business focus will intensify in those vital areas starting in 2026.
I hope to continue being a force for good in the lives of my students, my community, my country, and my own family. Thank you for taking the time to learn about me, and I hope to have the honor and privilege of returning the courtesy.
